SOMERSET, N.J.- Eight members of the Bryant track and field teams have earned All-NEC honors, as announced by the conference this week. Emma Garrity and Lois Warden led the way, earning All-NEC recognition for both the indoor and outdoor seasons. Will Remkiewicz, Andrew Canale, Anna Orticerio, Dawson Reynolds, John Bruder, and Brooke Bock also earned recognition.

SMITHFIELD, R.I.- The Bryant track and field teams competed this weekend at the NEICAAA New England Championships, held on campus at the Track and Turf Complex.  The Bulldogs posted seven All-New England performances, including a silver medal for William Remkiewicz in the 400 meters and a bronze for the women’s 4x100 relay team. Andrew Canale was the lone Bulldog to finish top-eight in multiple events, doing so in the 200 and 400 meters.

EMMITTSBURG, MD- The Bryant track and field teams brought home eight medals at the Northeast Conference Outdoor Championships this weekend at Mount St. Mary’s. Lois Warden and Emma Garrity won golds to headline the weekend for the Bulldogs. The men finished in fifth place overall while the women came home in seventh.

NEW BRITAIN, CT- The Bryant women’s track and field team captured an overall victory in Saturday’s Blue Devil Invite at Central Connecticut on the back of six individual event wins. The men’s team also picked up three event wins on their way to a second place overall finish. Emma Garrity’s winning run in the 200 meters also broke the Bryant school record.

Bulldogs Take Home Ten Top Three Finishes at UMass Lowell

LOWELL, MA- The Bryant track and field teams earned ten top-three finishes at Saturday’s George Davis Invitational at UMass Lowell. The Bulldogs were headed by Lois Warden, who took home first in the pole vault, and John Carlo Baratta, who finished top-three in both the 100 and 200 meter dashes.

SOMERSET, N.J.- Sophomore Lois Warden of the Bryant track and field team has been named NEC Field Co-Athlete of the Week for her performance in the pole vault at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate Invitational. Bryant has now won back-to-back women’s Athlete of the Week awards, after Jasmine Hope took honors last week.

SMITHFIELD, R.I.- The Bryant track and field teams took their talents to five separate meets over the weekend, setting four new school records in the process. The Bulldogs established new benchmarks in the men’s 5000 meters, men’s and women’s pole vault, and women’s 4x400 relay. Bryant athletes also placed among the top competitors in multiple other events across the weekend.

SOMERSET, N.J.- Bryant track and field sophomore Jasmine Hope has been named NEC women’s Field Athlete of the Week for her performance at Saturday’s Ocean State Invitational. She placed first in both the long jump (5.91 meters) and 100 meters (12.02) in Providence en route to her first career NEC weekly honor.

SOMERSET, N.J.- Freshman jumper Mike Marshall Jr. of the men’s track and field team has been named NEC Rookie of the Week for the first time in his career. He hit 1.95 meters in the high jump in Saturday’s Black and Gold Invitational, good for second place in the event and a tie for the Bryant program record.

SMITHFIELD, R.I.- The Bryant track and field teams brought home five event wins in this weekend’s Black and Gold Invitational, their lone home meet of the 2022 season. Program records were either tied or broken in the women’s pole vault, men’s high jump, women’s 400 meters, women’s 4x100 relay, and men’s 4x800 relay. Both squads placed third out of thirteen teams in the event.

Garrity Leads Bryant Performers at High Point Invitational

HIGH POINT, NC- The Bryant track and field teams opened their outdoor season over the weekend in North Carolina, competing at the Bill Webb/Bob Davidson Invitational at High Point University. Nine individual athletes and one relay team finished in the top eight during the event.

BOSTON, MA- Bryant track and field earned five All-East honors and broke seven program records at this weekend’s ECAC/IC4A Championships in Boston. Emma Garrity had the Bulldogs’ best finish, a third place in the 500 meters. Lois Warden, William Remkiewicz, Brett Cloutier, and the men’s 4x800 relay team also finished in the top eight for Bryant. The women’s team finished 28th out of 39 teams with 9.5 points, while the men were 33rd of 44 teams with six points.
