Bulldog Notes and Notables

  • Caleb Tondora (high jump) and Emma Garrity (600m) are coming off program record-setting performances at last weekend's Bates Invite. Both won their events and qualified for the NEICAAA meet in the process.

  • The duo of Lois Warden and Shileigh Martinez both rank in the NEC's top ten in the pole vault this year. Warden set the program record in the event earlier this season at Brown, and Martinez is also in Bryant's all-time top five.

  • Both Brett Cloutier and Grant Dubiel rank in the conference's top ten in the shot put this season. Cloutier's best of 15.63 at the Bryant throws competition is second best in Bulldog history and qualified him for the NEICAAA's.

  • Aidan Hickey holds top ten times in both the mile and 800 meters this season. He was victorious in the latter last weekend at Bates.

  • The Terrier Invitational will be the final meet before the NEICAAA New England Championships on Feb. 4-5. Six Bryant athletes have qualified for the meet so far, with Emma Garrity doing so in two events.
