Five All-East Performers, Seven School Records Headline ECAC/IC4A Meet

BOSTON, MA- Bryant track and field earned five All-East honors and broke seven program records at this weekend's ECAC/IC4A Championships in Boston. Emma Garrity had the Bulldogs' best finish, a third place in the 500 meters. Lois Warden, William Remkiewicz, Brett Cloutier, and the men's 4x800 relay team also finished in the top eight for Bryant. The women's team finished 28th out of 39 teams with 9.5 points, while the men were 33rd of 44 teams with six points.

Bulldog Notes and Notables

  • Garrity's time of 1:13.52 in the 500 was not only good enough for a podium finish and All-East honors, but also broke her own school record set earlier this season.

  • Remkiewicz finished sixth in the 400 meters, setting a new school record with a time of 47.98.

  • Warden tied her own school record with a 3.70 meter mark in the pole vault, good for Bryant's second top five place of the meet.

  • Jordan Dagrin, Nolan Hickey, Alex Petruso, and Luke Silva teamed up for a 7th place finish and Bryant school record of 7:40.24 in the 4x800 relay.

  • Brett Cloutier placed eighth in the shot put with a throw of 15.81 meters. That distance was also a Bryant record.

  • Aidan Hickey (800m, 1:52.35) and William Bittrich (3000m, 8:23.15) also set program records during the meet.
