Garrity Leads Bryant Performers at High Point Invitational
HIGH POINT, NC- The Bryant track and field teams opened their outdoor season over the weekend in North Carolina, competing at the Bill Webb/Bob Davidson Invitational at High Point University. Nine individual athletes and one relay team finished in the top eight during the event.

Emma Garrity posted the top overall finish for Bryant. She came home second in the 800 meters with a time of 2:15.77.

Shiliegh Martinez placed fourth in the women's pole vault with a height of 3.25 meters.

The Bulldogs had a pair of strong performances in men's pole vault, with Nick Mirecki finishing fourth (4.35m) and Mason Jones in sixth (4.15m)

Bryant had sixth place finishes in both the men's and women's 1500 meters. Ryan Slaney finished with a time of 4:03.96 and Abby Hamilton crossed the line at 4:50.64.

John Bruder placed seventh in shot put in his outdoor debut, with a distance of 14.40 meters.

Emmet Ruote placed seventh in the first javelin event of the year, with a distance of 61.09 meters.

Jacob Goodman placed eighth in the 400 meters with a time of 50.54.

The men's 4x400 relay team of Jason Dolan, Owen Molis, Nolan Hickey, and Aidan Hickey placed fourth with a time of 3:28.71.
