Bryant meets with LIU Brooklyn Monday night

THE MATCHUP
The Bulldogs remain in Brooklyn to take on LIU Brooklyn on Monday at 7 p.m.

SCOUTING THE BLACKBIRDS
LIU Brooklyn has won just four total games this year and three in conference, but are not to be taken lightly. Despite only having a 4-23 record, the Blackbirds have taken down two of the top teams in the conference in Sacred Heart (69-64) and Saint Francis U (75-69).

Bryant topped LIU earlier this season in the conference opener, 69-62, in Smithfield. Sophomore Jeydah Johnson led with 28 points shooting five-for-seven from beyond the arc. She continues to lead the Blackbirds posting 15.1points a game. Freshman Brandy Thomas trails not too far behind with 14.6 points a game and compiling four NEC Rookie of the Week honors.

SERIES HISTORY
Monday marks the 19th meeting in history between the two teams. The Bulldogs hold the series record, 14-4, topping the Blackbirds earlier in the season.

LAST TIME OUT: ST. FRANCIS BROOKLYN 101, BRYANT 77
The Bulldogs ended their three-game winning streak by falling to St. Francis Brooklyn, 101-77, on Saturday.

Junior Sydney Holloway (Morgantown, W.Va.) posted her 17th double-double of the season with 19 points, 10 rebounds.

Three other Bulldogs posted double-digits including Hannah Scanlan (Rumson, N.J.) (12), Naomi Ashley (Hamilton, Ont.) (11) and Brooke Bjelko (Plattsburgh, N.Y.) (10).

SEEING DOUBLE
Holloway tallies 17 double-doubles so far this season, 36 for her career, leading the NEC. Holloway ranks 12th in the country for her double-double efforts averaging a double-double a night with 17.0 points per game and 11.2 rebounds per game. Most recently, Holloway posted a double-double performance at St. Francis Brooklyn with 19 points, 10 rebounds.

DISHING IT OUT
Kierra Palmer (Aberdeen, Md.)
 led the Bulldogs with a season-high 10 assists in conference opener vs. LIU Brooklyn. Palmer tied her season-best against Mount St. Mary's as she tallied another double-digit assist performance with 10. She currently leads the Bulldogs with 107 assists so far on the season. Palmer is also ranked second in the NEC for assists per game with 4.0. Palmer compiled her 500th assist against Sacred Heart as she is now one of just seven players in NEC history to reach the milestone. Againt conference foes, Palmer averages 3.9 assists a game.
