THE SERIES
The Bulldogs are 4-2 all-time against the River Hawks. The two teams last played in 2019 where Bryant fell to UML 55-35 at home. The Black and Gold have split their wins two being home and two being away.
SCOUTING THE RIVER HAWKS
UMass Lowell fell to Boston Univeristy 76-47 in their season opener on Tuesday. Junior guard Jaliena Sanchez led the way for the River Hawks with 14 points on six of 15 from the field and 50% from three. As a team, UML shot 40% from beyond the arch against the Terriers.
WHAT TO KNOW
- Alana Perkins is coming off a 15 point performance against Iona, where she cashed in on five threes.
- Brooke Bjelko continued her dominance in the paint from last season with her 14th career double-double (13 pts, 14 rebs).
- The Bulldogs dominated the glass in their opener with 41 rebounds compared to the Gaels 21.
- Fatou Jallow was the assist leader on the team with seven.
- Bryant had three players score in double figures on Tuesday. Perkins (15), Bjelko (13), and Nicole Gallagher with 11 points.
