Bulldogs fall to UML on the road
LOWELL, MASS. - Alana Perkins of the Bryant University women's basketball team scores 16 points to lead the Bulldogs in the 68-54 road loss to UMass Lowell. Nicole Gallagher, Shannon O'Connor, and Mariona Planes Fortuny all hit double figures with 10 points each.

KEY MOMENT
- UMass Lowell produced a 9-0 run to take a 42-36 lead in the third. UML lead the rest of the game.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Riverhawks capitalized on Bryant's six turnovers to take a 7-4 lead at the first quarter media timeout.
- The Bulldogs responded with a 7-4 run to end the first quarter (11-7) behind four points from O'Connor and a three-pointer by Perkins.
- Perkins sank another three-pointer and the Bulldogs hit four free throws to hold a two-point lead at the second-quarter media timeout (18-16).
- Fortuny and Fatou Jallow scored close to the basket followed by a step-back three-pointer to give the Black and Gold a seven-point lead with 58 seconds left in the first half(27-20).
- UMass Lowell then hit two three-pointers in the final minute of the second half to get within one of the Bryant lead (27-26).
- Gallagher and Perkins went back-to-back from beyond the arch to earn the Bulldogs a three-point lead at the third quarter media timeout (36-33).
- The River Hawks then went on a 9-0 run to gain a six-point advantage over the Black and Gold forcing a timeout (42-36).
- Both teams scored five points each in the final five minutes keeping the Bulldogs down six at the end of the third quarter (47-41).
- Bryant scored 11 points, seven points by Perkins, and four points by O'Connor before the media timeout. UMass tallied 13 points to extend their lead to eight (60-52).
- UMass Lowell ended the game on an 8-2 run (68-54)

- Perkins led the Bulldogs in scoring with 16 points. She also had four steals.
