 NOTRE DAME, IN. - The Bryant University women's basketball team fell to the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame 94-35 at the Purcell Pavilion in Indiana.

 How it Happened

  • The Bulldogs started the first quarter with a layup from Fatou Jallow and a three-pointer from Nicole Gallagher to take a 5-2 lead.
  • Notre Dame then went on a 20-6 run to gain a 22-11 lead at the conclusion of the first quarter.
  • The Black and Gold were then outscored 21-5 during the second quarter (43-16).
  • In the third quarter, the Fighting Irish totaled 29 points compared to Bryant's seven points, scored by Gallagher, Brooke Bjelko, and Golden (72-23). 
  • Bryant tallied 12 points from Bjelko, Gallagher, Megan Bodziony, and Golden in the final quarter.
  • Notre Dame tallied 22 points, which resulted in a 94-35 final score.
