Gallagher tallies season-high in win versus SHU
SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Nicole Gallagher of the Bryant University women's basketball team posted a season-high 18 points while going 4-5 from three in the 67-47 Northeast Conference win against Sacred Heart at the Chace Athletic Center.
Fatou Jallow tallied 13 points and shot 100% from beyond the arc. Brooke Bjelko registered a 12 point and 10 rebound effort, and Mariona Planes Fortuny recorded nine points and 10 boards.

How it Happened
- The Bulldogs dominated the first quarter, holding the Pioneers to nine while scoring 21 of their own. Galagher and Jallow both went 2-2 from three in the quarter. Bjelko tallied four, Fortuny had three, Lucie Castagne and Kemari Reynolds recorded one.
- SHU earned a slight 15-13 edge in the second quarter, resulting in a 34-24 lead for Bryant at the half. Jallow took control defensively, taking two charges in the quarter. Gallagher posted four points, Bjelko had three, Fortuny, Castagne, Shannon O'Connor all recorded two.
- The Black and Gold continued to take control as they outscored SHU 19-9 in the third quarter. Bryant started hot in the second half, scoring 12 points before the media timeout. Gallagher tallied eight, Bjelko recorded four, Castagne nailed a three, Fortuny and Juliette Golden posted two.
- Both teams scored 14 points in the fourth quarter, which produced a 67-47 victory for the Bulldogs. Jallow took control in the quarter, scoring seven, going 2-2 from the field and free-throw line. Blanca Chasco tallied four, Fortuny had two, and Bjelko recorded one.
