Dawgs to make home debut against Emerson on Saturday

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Bryant University women's basketball team makes their home debut against Emerson College on Saturday night at the Chace Athletic Center.

SCOUTING THE LIONS
The Lions come into Saturday's matchup with a 1-1 record. Emerson fell to Colby-Sawyer 55-50 in their most recent game. Olivia Deslauriers currently leads the team in scoring with 14 ppg.

WHAT TO KNOW

  • Mariona Planes Fortuny opened the season with her third career double-double (22 pts, 12 reb) in the victory over Dartmouth. 
  • Megan Bodziony tallied a career-high 16 points on Monday. It was her third time reaching double figures as a Bulldog.
  • Alana Perkins went 5-6 from three and scored 19 points versus the Big Green. The Bulldogs are 4-3 all-time when Perkins makes at least five three-pointers.
  • The Black and Gold are looking for their first 2-0 start since 2018 and the fifth in DI program history.
