SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Bryant University Athletic Department and many of it 22 varsity sports will be hosting events this weekend, Oct. 2-4, for Homecoming 2009, headlined by the Bulldog football team's 1 p.m. Saturday matchup against Wagner College.

SMITHFIELD, RI - The Bryant University women's lacrosse team will wrap up its inaugural Division I season when the Bulldogs host Villanova this Saturday afternoon at 1 pm at the Turf Field Complex. The Bulldogs will honor seniors Lauren Albert, Victoria Russell and Delia Glover prior to the start.

NEWTON, MA – The Bryant University women’s lacrosse team dropped a 15-2 decision to Boston College Friday afternoon. Delia Glover (Marston Mills, MA) and Mary Green (Merrick, NY) each had a goal to the pace the Bulldogs who travel to LIU Sunday for a 1 pm game.

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Junior Allison Faiola (Billerica, Mass.) scored four goals while six other Bulldogs chipped in tallies of their own, but it wouldn't be enough to keep the Bryant University women's lacrosse team from dropping a 20-10 decision to Iona College on the road Tuesday.

March 12, 2009 was a historic date. When Bryant, coached by Karen Healy, played at Howard, coached by Jessica Morgan, it was it was the first time two African-American head coaches ever met in Division I women’s lacrosse.

The Bryant University women’s lacrosse team is back in action Tuesday night when the Bulldogs travel to Brown University for a 7 pm game. Bryant will be looking for its fourth win of the season and looking to bounce back from Friday’s 14-9 loss at Quinnipiac.

HAMDEN, CT – Delia Glover (Marston Mills, MA) scored five goals but it was not enough as Quinnipiac held off the Bulldogs 14-9 in women’s lacrosse action Friday afternoon. With the loss, Bryant drops to 3-7 on the season while Quinnipiac, behind four goals from Ashley Valentine and Nicole Fiore improve to 6-2.
