Bulldogs' Late Comeback Falls Short in NEC Title Game

SMITHFIELD, R.I.- The Bryant women’s lacrosse team fell to Mount St. Mary’s 15-13 in the NEC Championship on Saturday at Beirne Stadium. The Bulldogs staged a fourth quarter comeback to tie the game multiple times, but could never take the lead late in the game. Alexa Weber led Bryant with three goals, three ground balls, three draw controls, and a caused turnover.

Bulldogs, Mountaineers Meet Again in NEC Finals

SMITHFIELD, R.I.- The Bryant women’s lacrosse team will play for a Northeast Conference title Saturday afternoon in a playoff rematch with Mount St. Mary’s. The top-seeded Bulldogs eliminated fourth-seed Long Island in Thursday’s semifinal, while #2 Mount defeated #3 Wagner in overtime.

Bulldogs Roll to NEC Semifinal Win Over LIU

SMITHFIELD, R.I.- The Bryant women’s lacrosse team dominated from the opening draw en route to an NEC semifinal victory over LIU on Thursday at Beirne Stadium. Kenna Kaut scored five goals and Cassidy Burns dished eight assists as the Bulldogs clinched their seventh NEC finals appearance. The win was also the 200th in program history.

Bryant Hosting LIU in NEC Semifinals

SMITHFIELD, R.I.- The Bryant women’s lacrosse team will host Long Island in the opening game of the Northeast Conference tournament on Thursday afternoon in Smithfield. The Bulldogs are hosting the 2022 tournament as the top seed and will take on the fourth seeded Sharks in the semifinals.

Colalillo Named NEC Rookie of the Week

SOMERSET, N.J.- Freshman midfielder Jessica Colalillo has been named NEC women’s lacrosse Rookie of the Week for the final week of the regular season. It is the first career NEC award for Colalillo, who joins Amelia Piercy as Rookie of the Week honorees for Bryant this season.

Burns, Diaz Set Records In Final Regular Season Game

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.- The Bryant women’s lacrosse team dropped its regular season finale Saturday afternoon, falling to Wagner by a score of 12-11. Despite the loss, Bryant still clinched an NEC regular season co-championship and will host the conference tournament as the top seed.

The Bulldogs are on the precipice of two individual records, with Cassidy Burns tying the Bryant career assist record and Emily Diaz three draw controls shy of the program single season record.

Burns Breaks Assist Record in Loss to Vermont

SMITHFIELD, R.I.- The Bryant women’s lacrosse team saw it’s seven game win streak snapped in a 17-13 loss to Vermont Saturday at Beirne Stadium. Kenna Kaut scored four goals for the Bulldogs and Cassidy Burns dished six assists. Burns broke the Bryant single season record for assists with her 42nd in the third period.

Bulldogs Hosting Vermont For Senior Day

SMITHFIELD, R.I.- The Bryant women’s lacrosse team will celebrate senior day on Saturday afternoon as they take on Vermont in a non-conference matchup. The Bulldogs are also looking to extend a trio of winning streaks: they’ve won six straight NEC games, nine straight home games (dating back to last season), and seven straight games overall.

Record Tying 22 Goals Power Bryant to Seventh Straight Win

NORTH ANDOVER, MA- The Bryant women’s lacrosse team tied a program single-game record for goals en route to their seventh straight win, defeating Merrimack 22-12 on Wednesday. The win also puts them at 6-0 in the NEC with a pair of conference games remaining. Alexa Weber scored four goals for the Bulldogs, while Cassidy Burns netted a career high seven assists.

Weber was named Player of the Week for the first time this season and second time in her career, while Centofante was named Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in 2022.
