Weber, Centofante Earn NEC Weekly Honors

SOMERSET, N.J.- Alexa Weber and Sam Centofante of the Bryant women's lacrosse team have earned weekly recognition by the NEC. Weber was named Player of the Week for the first time this season and second time in her career, while Centofante was named Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in 2022.

Weber led the Bulldogs' offensive outburst against Saint Francis, scoring five goals on nine shots and dishing an assist. She also won a team high seven draw controls and picked up three ground balls in Friday night's win. Centofante saved ten shots against the Red Flash, allowing just six goals for a 62.5% save percentage. She and the Bulldogs allowed less than ten goals for the fifth straight game.

Kenna Kaut was also named a Prime Performer for the week after scoring five times on Friday. All three players will be back in action this Wednesday when Bryant travels to face Merrimack at 3:00 p.m.
