Bryant heads to SFU, RMU this weekend

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University women's soccer team treks to western Pennsylvania this weekend for games against Saint Francis U (Friday) and Robert Morris (Sunday).

The Series

• Bryant enters Friday just 2-7-1 against SFU. The Black and Gold have never won in Loretto.
• Last season, the two teams played to a 1-1 draw in Smithfield. Rachel Benz scored in the third minute but the Red Flash was able to score the equalizer in the 88th minute.
• The Bulldogs are 8-1-2 all-time against Robert Morris. Bryant is unbeaten against the Colonials in Moon Township.
• Last season, Remi Manna and Benz scored five minutes apart in the first half to give Bryant a 2-0 victory at home.
• The Black and Gold have never swept a weekend in western Pennsylvania.

• Bryant enters the weekend unbeaten in its last four matches (2-0-2).
• The Bulldogs are 1-0-1 in Northeast Conference play, sitting in first place with four points.
• Bryant is coming off a 1-1 draw with defending conference champ Central Connecticut.
• The Black and Gold have allowed the fewest goals in the NEC (10) this year.
• Bryant's 11 goals have come from six different players. Senior Remi Manna (Pleasantville, N.Y.) leads the way with three goals and eight total points.

A bit about the Red Flash

• SFU enters the weekend at 2-5-1 overall and 1-0-0 in NEC play. The Red Flash defeated Mount St. Mary's, 2-1, in overtime last week.
• Dakota Graham and Alyssa McGhee are tied for the team lead in points with six. McGhee is the reigning NEC Player of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal against Mount.
• Julia Hernan has started all eight matches in net, posting a 3.01 GAA and a .600 save percentage.

A bit about the Colonials

• RMU enters the weekend at 3-5-1 overall and 1-0-0 in NEC play. The Colonials earned a 1-0 win over Mount last weekend.
• Kayla Veloso-Lima leads the Colonials with three goals and eight points.
• Sheridan Reid is tied for the team lead with three goals.
• Sydney Bruckner has started all nine games and has a 1.16 GAA and a .859 save percentage.
• The Colonials have allowed just 11 goals in nine games.
