Bryant heads to SFU, RMU this weekend

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University women's soccer team treks to western Pennsylvania this weekend for games against Saint Francis U (Friday) and Robert Morris (Sunday).

The Series

A bit about the Red Flash

  • SFU enters the weekend at 2-5-1 overall and 1-0-0 in NEC play. The Red Flash defeated Mount St. Mary's, 2-1, in overtime last week.
  • Dakota Graham and Alyssa McGhee are tied for the team lead in points with six. McGhee is the reigning NEC Player of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal against Mount.
  • Julia Hernan has started all eight matches in net, posting a 3.01 GAA and a .600 save percentage.

A bit about the Colonials

  • RMU enters the weekend at 3-5-1 overall and 1-0-0 in NEC play. The Colonials earned a 1-0 win over Mount last weekend.
  • Kayla Veloso-Lima leads the Colonials with three goals and eight points.
  • Sheridan Reid is tied for the team lead with three goals.
  • Sydney Bruckner has started all nine games and has a 1.16 GAA and a .859 save percentage.
  • The Colonials have allowed just 11 goals in nine games.
