    Smithfield, R.I. - The Bryant University women's soccer team is set to begin the 2021 season in two days after having not played for over a year. During the 2019 season, the Bulldogs finished the year with a 9-4-4 overall record and an undefeated conference record of 7-0-3. From September 9th to November 9th, the Black and Gold didn't lose a game. They earned eight wins and four ties during that stretch to advance to the Northeast Conference semi-finals, where Bryant fell to Fairleigh Dickinson by a score of 2-0.

    Somerset, N.J. - The Bryant University women's soccer team has been selected to finish fourth in the Northeast Conference by the organization on Wednesday. Head coach Andy Biggs said, "With more than 450 days since our last game, the players and coaches are very appreciative of the opportunity that we have to compete during this spring season.  We're really excited to be back together and training once again. We're approaching the season with the idea that we have unfinished business and can't wait for that first kick-off later this month".

These recommendations, which call for both regular season and championship elements, were developed in conjunction with conference and institutional athletic administrators, the NEC Sport Management Committee and the NEC COVID-19 Medical Advisory Committee.
