Biggs Announces Class of 2025

Smithfield, R.I. - Bryant University women's soccer head coach Andy Biggs is excited to welcome eight student-athletes from the class of 2025 to Smithfield.

"We are very happy to welcome the class of 2025 to the Bulldog Family.  Each is a serious student and skillful soccer player. Their talent and character will make them a great fit for our team and school, and I know they are excited to get started here in Smithfield, Coach Biggs said". "We look forward to making them quickly feel at home in our program as well as to seeing all they will contribute as people, students, teammates, and players during their four years at Bryant."

Catherine Bean | Forward | Westfield Mass. | Westfield High School (Oakwood Soccer Club) 

 Before Bryant: Was a varsity starter from 2017-2020 and also helped her team win a championship in all of those years… Made the All-League team and the All-Western Mass team… Played club soccer from 2012-2020 and in 2017 her team made the championships… Also will be joining the Bryant Track and Field team this fall. 

Personal: Daughter of Tara and Brent Bean… Has one sister. 

 

Samantha Breton | Defense/Midfield | Chicopee, Mass. | Chicopee Comprehensive High School | (NEFC)

Before Bryant: Played four years of varsity soccer for the Colts… Was selected to the All-Western Mass team three years in a row… Made the All-State team during the 2019 season… Was a Coaches All-League selection in 2017… Won the Massachusetts State Cup Championships for her club team in 2018 and 2019… Helped her team win the National Cup Championships in 2019… Member of the National Honors Society. 

Personal: Daughter of Victoria and Thomas Breton… Has one brother. 

 

Jordyn Collins | Forward |Foxborough, Mass. | Foxborough High School | (Scorpions) 

Before Bryant: Four-year varsity starter for the Warriors… Helped her team win two Davenport Championships… Won the NPL Championship with her club team… Honor Roll student. 

Personal: Daughter of Jeremy and Val Collins… Has three brothers. 

 

Hailey Koons | Attacking Midfield | Standish, Maine | Bonny Eagle High School | (Seacoast United Soccer Club)

Before Bryant: Played varsity soccer all four years at Bonny Eagle High School… Her team made the playoffs during her Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior year… Set the All-Time school record in goals with 42… Named Offensive Player of the Year three years in a row… Made the Southern Maine Athletic Association first-team and All-Conference team in 2018 and 2019… Was a two-time All-Star and made the Southern Maine State team in 2018 and 2019… Was the recipient of the Regan McCleary Memorial Award in 2020… Won the State Cup Championships twice… Honor Roll student. 

Personal: Daughter of Chris and Wendy Koons... Has one brother and one sister.

 

Emma Pedolzky | Midfield/Defense | Westfield, Mass. |  Westfield High School | (NEFC) 

Before Bryant: A four-year varsity letter winner… Won the League Championship from 2017-2019, and won her leagues "bubble" in 2020… Earned the Western Mass Championships in 2019… Won the Defensive Player of the Year award in 2017 and was named league MVP in 2019… Made the All-Western mass team in 2018 and 2019… Was selected to the All-League team for three consecutive years (2017-2019)… Received the All-State award during the 2018 and 2019 season… Was a super seven selection in 2020… Won the National Championship with the NEFC club soccer team in 2019… Member of the National Honors Society. 

Personal: Daughter of Erin and Anthony Pedolzky… Has one brother and one sister. 

 

Hailey Pereira | Midfield | Carmel, N.Y. | Mahopac High School | (FC Force New York)

Before Bryant Played on the varsity soccer team from 2018-2020… Led her team to the playoffs in the 2018 and 2019 seasons… During her tenure so far Pereira tallied 18 goals, 35 assists, and 53 total points… Won the freshman offensive MVP award and the Priano award… Was an All-League recipient her junior year… Named team captain as a senior… Named to the Elite 11 team… Holds the record for points on her team, and is seventh in overall points and second in overall assists for Section 1… Member of the National Honors Society. 

Personal: Daughter of Jorge and Cassidi Pereira… Has one brother. 

 

Rachel Roman | Center mid/Center back | South Glastonbury, Conn. | Glastonbury High School | (Oakwood Soccer Club)

Before Bryant: Was on the Oakwood Soccer Club team for 12 years… Recorded ten career goals and started 70 career games… Honor Roll student. 

Personal: Daughter of Bruce and Gale Roman… Has two brothers. 

 

Carly Warn | Forward Height | Winslow, Maine | Winslow High School | (Seacoast United) 

Before Bryant: Four-year varsity starter at Winslow High School… Made the playoff three years in a row… Tallied a total of 65 career goals and 25 career assists… Made the KVAC All-Conference first-team from 2017-2019… Named the Offensive Player of the Year in 2017 and 2018… Member of the Maine Coaches Regional All-Star team in 2018 and 2019… Won the KVAC Conference Championships in 2018… Earned the MVP award during the 2019 and 2020 seasons and was also team captain… Was the highest goal scorer on her team all four years… Named team captain in 2019 and 2020… Won the State Cup Championship in 2014 and the Needham Tournament in 2019. 

Personal: Daughter of Marylou and Eric Warn… Has one brother.
