Dalton named NEC Defensive Player of the Week

Somerset, N.J. - Meghan Dalton of the Bryant University women's soccer team has been named the Northeast Conference Defensive Player of the Week by the organization on Monday.

In the 1-0 double-overtime win against Sacred Heart, Dalton recorded nine saves and picked up the shutout victory. This is the fourth time in Dalton's career that she has earned this award.

Madeline Labance was named an NEC Primetime Performer for her efforts against the Pioneers. Labance scored the game-winning goal in the 108th minute after Amanda Spitaleris shot was saved by the SHU goalkeeper.

The Bulldogs will host Long Island tomorrow at Beirne Stadium for their second conference game of the season.
