Cronin, McNeil, and Bean earn NEC Weekly Honors

SOMERSET, N.J. - Katie Cronin, Kathryn McNeil, and Catherine Bean of the Bryant University women's soccer team all received Northeast Conference weekly honors from the organization on Tuesday.

Cronin was named the NEC Player of the Week for her play in the Bulldogs victories against Central Connecticut State and Mount St. Mary's. Cronin tallied seven points in two games with the game-winning goal against CCSU and two goals and an assist on Sunday versus MSM. This is the first time in Cronin's career that she has been named the NEC Player of the Week.

McNeil received the honor of NEC Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in her Bryant tenure. McNeil recorded her first career shutout and tallied seven saves in the win versus CCSU. McNeil also had two saves against MSM. 

Bean earned the NEC Rookie of the Week honor for her play against CCSU and MSM. Bean recorded five total points with an assist versus CCSU and one goal and two assists in the 5-3 win against the Mountaineers. This is the first time Bean has been named the NEC Rookie of the Week.

Freshman Emma Pedolzky was named an NEC Prime Performer after tallying four points in two games with an assist versus the Blue Devils and a goal and an assist against Mount St. Mary's.
