McNeil named AE Defensive Player of the Week

BOSTON, MASS. - Kathryn McNeil of the Bryant Univesity women's soccer team was named the America East Defensive Player of the Week by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.

McNeil recorded seven saves, and a save percentage of .875 last week for the Bulldogs. McNeil picked up her first shutout victory of the season against Stonehill and then earned a tie versus Merrimack on Sunday to go 1-0-1.

The Black and Gold will begin the conference play on Sunday in a road match against Binghamton.
