Pedolzky and Collins score in home loss to NJIT

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Jordyn Collins and Emma Pedolzky of the Bryant University women's soccer team found the back of the net in the Black and Gold's 3-2 loss at home on Thursday.

Scoring Summary

• 3rd minute - Bryant 1, NJIT 0 - The Black and Gold started a quick break with Collins on the outside of the field, who took the ball the entire length and riffled a shot to the left of the net.
• 10th minute - Bryant 2, NJIT 0 - Collins dribbled the ball down the right side and waited for the defender to bite so she could dish it to Pedolzky for the one-touch goal.
• 38th minute - Bryant 2, NJIT 1 - The Highlanders shot a ball, which was saved, and then headed in for their first goal of the game.
• 65th minute - Bryant 2, NJIT 2 - NJIT shot a ball from 30 yards out that ricocheted off a Bulldog defender to tie the match.
• 83rd minute - NJIT 3, Bryant 2 - Te Highlanders forward was tackled in the box and granted a penalty kick. She then sent a shot to the top right of the net to give NJIT their first lead of the contest.
