Ritzer named NEC Diver of the Week

Somerset, N.J. - Gabrielle Ritzer of the Bryant University women's swimming and diving team has been named the Northeast Conference Diver of the Week by the organization on Thursday.

Ritzer was victorious in both the one and three-meter dives against CCSU on Saturday. She posted scores of 177.61 in the one-meter and 186.61 in the three-meter dives. This is the third time in her career that Ritzer has received this award.

Fellow Bulldog and last week's NEC Swimmer of the Week, Alexa Rivera was named an NEC prime performer this week. Rivera won the 50 free (24.29) and placed second in the 100 free (53.49) and 200 IM (2:10.41).

The Bulldogs will stay in the ocean state and face URI in a road meet this Saturday.
