Bulldogs Dominate NEC Weekly Awards

SOMERSET, N.J.- The Bryant swimming and diving teams capped off their regular season with a near sweep of the Northeast Conference's weekly awards. Matthew Mays, Reagan Lord, Ben Prouty, Kyri Chambo, and Leo Luna all received recognition.

Mays was named NEC co-swimmer of the week after claiming four event wins vs. Marist and setting a new Chace pool record in the 100 back. It was Mays' nth weekly award this season. Lord won both swimmer and rookie of the week on the women's for the nth time this season. She also won four times vs. Marist on Saturday.

Ben Prouty and Kyri Chambo were named men's diver and women's co-diver of the week. Prouty won the one-meter dive with a score of 233.93 and placed second in the three-meter. Chambo won the three-meter against Marist with a 238.88 and was the runner-up in the one-meter.

Leo Luna earned his nth men's rookie of the week honor of the season after claiming victory in the 500 and 1000 free vs. Marist. FuKang Wong and Laurel Carey were also named Prime Performers by the NEC for their swims on Saturday.
