Women's 100 Fly Sweep Highlights Nine Medals on NEC Night 3

GENEVA, OH- The Bryant swim and dive teams brought home nine medals on the third day of the NEC Championships, with golds from Sammi Grenon and Julia Stenhard. Grenon set a team and meet record in the 400 IM, while Stenhard led a podium sweep in the 100 fly. The men's team continues to lead, while the women are in second, ten points abreast of Central Connecticut.

  • Conner Lofstrom tied the NEC record in the 200 free during the morning prelims with a 1:39.79. He bested that time with a 1:38.46 in the finals, good for a silver.

  • The 200 free relay team of Lofstrom, Alex Rowson, Matthew Mays, and Eric Bebel brought home bronze with a 1:21.79, one of four teams to break the old meet record.

  • The Bulldogs also had Andrew Gamper, Tyler Stringfellow, Asher Stukelman, and Griffen Schimmel (400 IM), Dom Scifo, Eric Bebel (100 fly), and Alex Rowson (200 free) swim in the A-finals.
