Bulldogs Finish Third at BC Invite

CHESTNUT HILL/WORCESTER- The Bryant women's swimming and diving team took home a third-place finish in the season-opening Boston College Invite on Saturday. The Bulldogs scored 534 total points in the five team event that included Massachusetts, Holy Cross, Providence, and the host Eagles.

Senior Julia Stenhard led the way for the Bulldogs, finishing second in the 100 fly and third in the 100 back. Freshman Jill Carline also had a great day, coming home second in the 200 free and fourth in the 100 free in her collegiate debut.

Coach Cameron: "The BC Invite was a great way to start the season. We competed well and had many great swims, and it was an awesome opportunity for our divers to face some really good competition. It was exciting for our freshmen to get their first college meet under their belt as well. Julia Stenhard had some great swims for the women! We will put in some serious work for two weeks until we go head-to-head with Binghamton."
