Women's tennis down Providence, 7-0, Saturday

SMITHFIELD, R.I.  – The Bryant University women's tennis team picked up a dominating 7-0 victory over Providence College on Saturday night at Rally Point.

"After last weekend's close matches, the girls were excited to get back on the court and they played awesome."  

How it Happened

  • Bryant cruised to the doubles point, sweeping the Friars at all three spots. Ada Boru (Boca Raton, Fla.) and Sarah Hickey (Toronto, Ont.) improved to 5-1 at the No. 1 spot with a 6-2 victory.
  • In singles, Bryant won all but one match in straight sets. Arianna Oropeza (Weston, Fla.) picked up her 10th win of the year with a win at No. 3.
