Bulldogs fall to LIU on Saturday night

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Bryant University women's tennis team fell to Long Island University, 5-2, on Saturday night.    

How it Happened

  • The Bulldogs were able to grab the doubles point from the Sharks on Saturday. Ada Boru and Leanne Kendall won 6-2 at No. 1, while Caitlyn Munson and Olivia Rondini won 6-2 at No. 3.
  • LIU, however, won five of the six singles matches to clinch. Olivia Rondini won the lone for the Black and Gold, defeating Kate Jorjoliani 6-3, 6-1 at No. 6.
