FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Despite a career-high 10 kills from sophomore Grace Richmeyer (DeSoto, Mo.), 10 more from all-conference second team selection Julia Flynn (Pembroke, Mass.) and a double-double from fellow second teamer Kirstyn Sperry (Phoenix, Ariz.), the third-seeded Bryant University volleyball team dropped a four-set heartbreaker to No. 2 LIU Brooklyn in the 2016 NEC Tournament Semifinals Saturday night.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Bryant University volleyball team returns to the postseason for the second time in as many years for the 2016 Northeast Conference Tournament Nov. 19-20. Bryant secured the No. 3 seed for the second-straight season after earning its highest regular-season finish in the program’s DI history. The Bulldogs will faceoff against No. 2 LIU Brooklyn in the second semifinal Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
