    SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Junior Jason Dolan earned finished first out of 28 male runners to kick off the 2021 season and bring home a first-place team win for the Bryant University cross country team. The men posted five runners in the top-10 including a third-place finish from junior William Bittirch.

    SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men’s and women’s cross country team host both Sacred Heart and Merrimack to open the season on Saturday, Feb. 13. The race will serve as a way for the teams to prepare before competing in the NEC Championship which will also be held on the Bryant campus in Smithfield.

    Smithfield, R.I – Amanda Whitman of the Bryant University track and field team, and Jordan Dagrin of the cross country team both participated in the Bryant Votes campaign during the fall semester. Bryant Votes is an initiative run by students, faculty, and staff that encourages everyone to vote and tries to relay the message of how important everyone’s vote is.

    Somerset, NJ – The Northeast Conference Council of Presidents today announced the NEC Fall Sports Return to Play Plan set to commence during the 2021 spring semester. These recommendations, which call for both regular season and championship elements, were developed in conjunction with conference and institutional athletic administrators, the NEC Sport Management Committee and the NEC COVID-19 Medical Advisory Committee.

    SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University cross country program is set to hold the 20th Annual Shawn M. Nassaney Memorial Race/Walk virtually this fall. More information is still to come as a registration link will be coming shortly. The annual college cross country invitational is still scheduled for September 12 in Smithfield.
