NEC Championship moved off campus

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Out of an abundance of caution for the campus community and all participants, Bryant University will now be hosting the Northeast Conference Cross Country Championship at Heather Hill Country Club in Plainville, Mass., on Sunday afternoon.

The Bryant University cross country program is thankful for a cross country alum who has graciously provided an exceptional site for the 2021 championship meet.

Due to technology challenges associated with the change in venue, the event will not be streamed live. Fans can receive live race updates via the NEC's cross country Twitter account (@NECXC). Race results and recaps, photos and video of the awards ceremonies will be posted throughout the day on the NEC website and social media platforms.

The women's 5K will begin at 12:30 p.m. followed by the men's 8K at 1:30 p.m.
