Switzer announces 2021 cross country schedule

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University Director of Cross Country/Tack and Field Mitchell Switzer announced the programs cross country schedule for the fall on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs are scheduled to compete in seven meets this fall, beginning with the 21st annual Nassaney Invitational on September 11. This year's Nassaney Invitational will coincide with the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and will held in conjunction with the Shawn M. Nassaney Memorial Race/Walk.

Bryant will then head to New Britain, Connecticut, on September 25 for the first of three races at Stanley Quarter Park. The Bulldogs will compete in the Ted Owen Invitational, the CCSU Mini-Meet (Oct. 22) and the Northeast Conference Championships (Oct. 30) at Stanley Quarter Park.

The Black and Gold will also compete in the New England Championships on Oct. 9 at Franklin Park in Boston, the Vermont Fall Foliage Invitational in Saint Albans, Vermont and the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships at Franklin Park.
