Slaney named NEC Men's XC Rookie of the Week

Freshman Ryan Slaney was named NEC Rookie of the Week for his run at the Vermont Fall Foliage Invite over the weekend. Slaney was Bryant's second place finisher, placing ninth out of 74 competitors with a time of 26:33.9 in the 8k. It is the first NEC weekly honor of his career.

Seniors William Bittrich and Sarah Freeman were also named Prime Performers by the NEC. Both runners paced the Bulldogs in Vermont, with Bittrich coming seventh with a time of 26:29.7, while Freeman placed 12th in the women's 3k with a 19:35.3.
