BOSTON, MASS. - Men’s cross country runner Ryan Slaney was named as a winner of the America East Fall Scholar-Athlete awards on Tuesday afternoon.

BRONX, N.Y.- Bryant women’s cross country finished 25th overall at the NCAA Northeast Regionals on Friday November 10th, marking the best team finish in program history. Sophomore Jasmine Trott led the women with a time of 21:35.9 in the 6k. Chloe Whiting, Emma Nadolski, Kelley MacElhiney and Casey Curran joined Trott as point scorers. The Men’s team finished in 28th place which was good for second best in school history. Junior Ryan Slaney led the way with a time 30:34.6. This would be Bryant’s highest individual at the regionals in program history. Slaney would be joined by Nolan Hickey, Dawson Reynolds, Justin Shiffrin, and Nicholas Poulin who were also point scorers.

ORONO, M.E.- Junior Ryan Slaney placed second in the Men’s 8k at the America East Championships on Friday with a time of 24:27.66. This would mark the highest finish ever for a Bulldog in a conference meet.The men’s team finished seventh overall with Justin Shiffrin, Dawson Reynolds, Aiden Masse, and Nolan Hickey joining Slaney as point scorers. Sophomore Jasmine Trott finished the race in 6th place and improved her personal best by 14 seconds (18:07.59). The women also placed 7th overall with Chloe Whiting, Kelley MacElhiney and Abby Hamilton, and Emma Nadolski joining Trott as point scorers.

ST. ALBANS, VT- Senior Nolan Hickey won the men’s race at the Vermont Fall Foliage Invitational and helped the men’s team finish second overall. Aidan Hickey, Alex Petruso, Nicholas Poulin, and Aiden Masse also were point scorers for the Bulldogs. Chloe Whiting was the top finisher for the women placing 9th. The women’s team finished 4th overall with Casey Curran, Kelley MacElhiney and Abby Hamilton joining Whiting as point scorers.

BOSTON, Mass.- Junior Dawson Reynolds placed 23rd this past weekend at the NEICAAA Championships with a time of 26.29.1 in the 8k to help Bryant finish 11th overall. Justin Shiffrin, A.J. Chiapetta, Toby Ruffo, and Jarlen Arango joined Reynolds as point scorers.The women’s team was led by freshman Isabel Berardino who finished with a time of 20:06.6 in the 5k. The women finished 13th overall and saw Alexa Fisher, Grace Sullivan, Emma Gryzbinski, and Jayden Stygar joined Berardino as point scorers.

BETHLEHEM, PA.- Sophomore Jasmine Trott and Junior Ryan Slaney led Bryant this past weekend at the Paul Short Run at Lehigh University placing 6th in their respective races. Trott was the women’s top finisher with a time of 21:55.9. Slaney led the men with a time of 25:06.3

SMITHFIELD, R.I.- Junior Ryan Slaney and Sophomore Jasmine Trott led the Bulldogs this past weekend at 22nd Annual Shawn M. Nassaney Invitational. Slaney led the men’s team placing 8th overall with a time of 15:21.3 in the 5k. Trott was the women’s top finisher placing 10th with a time of 18:21.4.

ORONO, M.E.- Junior Ryan Slaney and Sophomore Jasmine Trott led the Bulldogs this past Friday at the Maine Pre Conference Meet. Slaney led the men’s team placing 7th overall with a time of 25:12.8 in the 8k. Trott was the women’s top finisher placing 9th with a time of 18:37.8.

BALTIMORE, Md.- Ryan Slaney secured a Top-10 finish and Abby Hamilton came home 16th to lead the Bryant cross country teams at Saturday’s America East Championships at Jerusalem Mill Park. The women’s team placed sixth while the men’s team finished seventh overall.
