Andrew Canale, Men's Indoor Track and Field

Canale helped the men’s track and field team to its best finish to date at the Bates Invitational on Saturday. The sophomore led the Bulldogs by setting a new school record in the 600m. Canale took home first-place out of 11 runners and crossed the finish line with a record-breaking time of 1:22.36. Before Saturday, Canale sat at fourth all-time in Bryant’s top-10 record book in the 600m with a time of 1:26.07, which he set in 2019 at the same meet. Canale surpassed Michael DiBella ’11 who set the previously held record in 2010 with a time of 1:23.65.
