Bill DiStefano '98
Baseball
Hall of Fame Class of 2006

Those who followed the Bryant Baseball program could see in the teams of the late 1990's that something special was taking place. One of the people responsible for that was Bill DiStefano. One of the best pure hitters ever to walk through this program, DiStefano put up remarkable numbers in his 4 years at Bryant.

His play on helped lead Bryant to a Northeast-10 Championship and an appearance in the 1998 NCAA Northeast Regional Championships.

A first team All-Region selection by the American Baseball Coaches Association in 1998, he was also a two time Northeast-10 All Conference Selection. To wrap up his incredible career he was also named Bryant College Male Athlete of the Year in 1998. He is among the career leaders in hits (199), stolen bases (42), and doubles (39). He is the all-time leader in RBI's with 150.
