Bryant places 47 on NEC Winter Academic Honor Roll

BULLDOGS PLACE 47 ON WINTER ACADEMIC HONOR ROLL

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University placed 47 athletes on the Northeast Conference Academic Honor Roll released on Monday by the league office.

Along with the scholar-athletes, the NEC also announced its winter Academic Honor Roll, consisting of 577 student-athletes with a 3.20 or better grade-point average, an increase of eight percent from the 2011-12 academic year.  There were also a record 159 student-athletes named to the winter Commissioner’s Honor Roll, recognizing those superior student-athletes with a 3.75 or better grade point average.  The number of students named to the Commissioner’s Honor Roll represents a whopping 14 percent increase from a year ago.

The Bulldogs placed eight athletes on the prestigious Commissioner’s Honor Roll and 47 others on the Academic Honor Roll. For a full list of the honorees, click here.
