Bulldogs Win Sixth Straight Behind Loh; Now 6-0 in Northeast-10

WORCESTER, MASS. - Behind starting pitcher Eric Loh (Old Greenwich, CT), the Bryant baseball team won its sixth straight game, all in conference, 4-1 over Assumption College Friday afternoon.

Loh went the distance, scattering seven hits while striking out nine and walking none. With the win, he is now 2-1 on the season.

The Bulldogs scored twice in the second behind the bat of 3B Jason Alexander (Simsbury, CT) who singled home RF Taylor Ferguson (Charlton, Mass.). Then, SS Pat McKenna (Orange, CT) hit a two-out double that plated Alexander with Bryant's second run.

1B Mike Rocco (Tewksbury, Mass.) made it 3-0 in the third, when he doubled home LF T.J. Magnell (Leominster, Mass.).

The Bulldogs defeated Greyhound ace Jeff Barbale who entered the game with a 2-1 record, with two complete games and an e.r.a. under one.

Loh threw just 95 pitches, allowing just a single run in the seventh inning. His defense was perfect, making no errors while recording 18 putouts.

The Bulldogs (13-9, 6-0 NE-10) host Southern Connecticut Sunday for a doubleheader with first pitch slated for noon.
