Was even better against league opponents, going 4-0 with a league-best 1.54 ERA in eight starts ... Before Bryant: A three-time State Champion at Westhill High School in Syracuse, N.Y. ... Helped baseball team win back-to-back state titles in 2009 and 2010 and led basketball team to a state championship in 2010 ... In baseball as a junior, named all-league, Second Team All-Central New York and All-State ... Recognized as a Preseason Louisville Slugger All-American as a senior and went on to earn all-league honors, All-CNY Pitcher of the Year honors and First Team All-State honors ...
