As a junior: Emerged as Bryant's go-to arm out of the bullpen ... Made a staff-high 22 appearances, going 4-1 with four saves and a 3.71 ERA in 43.2 innings ... Allowed 27 runs (18 earned) on 50 hits, walked 15 and struck out 35 ... Earned his first win of the year with 4.2 innings of relief against Towson on Mar. 8 ... Turned in his best performances of the year over the final month of the season ... Appeared in 14 of Bryant's final 27 games, going 3-1 with four saves and a 2.63 ERA in 27.1 innings ... As a freshman: Made one appearance on the mound during his freshman year ... Made his collegiate debut in the series final against Oregon State (3/3), allowing three runs on two hits in an inning of work ... Issued a walk but struck out two in his lone inning on the year.

Before Bryant: A three-year varsity letterwinner at Mark T. Sheehan High School in Wallingford, Conn. … Davitt joined the varsity squad as a sophomore and went 4-0 on the mound, helping the team to the state championship …  As a junior, became a front-line starter as well as the Titans starting second baseman ... As a senior, helped lead the Titans to the Class L State semi-finals.
