IN THE NEWS: Nationally-ranked Baseball featured in three weekend stories

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – It was a busy weekend for the nationally-ranked Bryant University baseball team on and off the field. The Bulldogs won a weekend series against Central Connecticut and were also featured in three major stories.

First, Associated Press reporter Eric Olson wrote a piece on Bryant's performance at the national level despite being a "small Rhode Island school."
