Baseball hosts Black and Gold World Series Friday/Saturday

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University baseball team wraps up the fall season with its annual Black and Gold World Series beginning on Friday afternoon at 3:00 at Conaty Park. The two-day event concludes Saturday at 12:30.

About the Black and Gold World Series

• Bryant's Black and Gold World Series will feature two teams, Team Grenier and Team Pettoruto.
• The two teams will play six innings on Friday and eight innings on Saturday.
• Each inning will be treated as a 'skin' with 14 skins up for grabs over the course of the two days.
• If an inning isn't won by either team, the skin value rolls over to the next inning (s) until an inning is won.
• At the end of each game, there will be a skin total and a score total, with the winner of the game receiving five skins.
