Bio

Alex Erban enters his second year as Head Coach of the Bulldogs after previously serving as Assistant Coach from 2018-2020. During the 2019-2020 season, he helped lead the team to a post-season run in the ACHA DII Regional tournament.

As a player and assistant captain of the Assumption College Greyhounds hockey team from 2012-2016, he was named to the Northeast-10 Conference All-Rookie Team in 2013 and led the team in scoring during his sophomore year. Prior to that, he played for the South Shore Kings and Mount Saint Charles Academy. He graduated from Assumption College in 2016 with a degree in International Business and Sports Management. 

This season, he is eager to continue his passion for the game on the other side of the boards, coaching the Bulldogs to success — hopefully leading them back to the ACHA DII Regionals and into the National Tournament.

Outside of coaching, Erban remains immersed in hockey as the Manager of his family-owned hockey shop, focusing on retail, team sales, and outfitting the future stars of the game....including hopefully a few future BULLDOGS!
