Bulldogs Hockey: Back At It

Smithfield, RI- As the fall 2022 semester kicks off so does the hockey season for the Bulldogs.

Tryouts:

The team held tryouts last week at the Rhode Island Sports Center. They added necessary depth with additions of over 10 new players to complete a 30-man roster. The Bulldogs are very optimistic on this upcoming season and hope to make regionals for the 3rd straight year.

Golf Tournament:

On Friday, September 30th, Bryant Hockey held their annual Golf Tournament at the Crystal Lake Golf Course in Mapleville, RI. The event fundraised for the upcoming 2022-2023 season. The fundraiser grew from 85 participants last year to 105 participants this year. Ian Loftus explains that “the team raised a bunch of money, and the fundraiser was a very fun and successful way to start off the year with the whole team.”

The first game will be held on Sunday 10/9 at the Rhode Island Sports Center vs Providence College. 2:50 pm
