NATIONAL CHAMPIONS RECEIVE RINGS

NATIONAL CHAMPIONS RECEIVE RINGS

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – This past weekend, the Bryant University Cheer and Dance teams gathered with their fellow alumni to celebrate their win as Game Day Division I National Champions at the NCA/NDA National Collegiate Championship competition back in April.

To commemorate their title, the team held a ring ceremony where each member received a championship ring with their name on one side and the Bryant Bulldog on the other. In addition, each member also received a leather jacket with the National Cheerleading Association logo embroidered onto it.

The ceremony was a huge success and the team had a chance to catch up with their alumni. In addition, the Cheer team played a video of their routine from the Daytona competition, demonstrating to their new members what it takes to be on a national championship team.

On top of their lovely ceremony, the Cheer team also performed at Saturday’s Homecoming game against Saint Francis University. They were very energetic and nailed their halftime routine, as well as cheers after the first and third quarters. Their enthusiasm carried over into the crowd as alumni and former team members cheered them on from the sidelines.

Don’t miss the Cheer team as they perform at the next home football game on Saturday, October 12th at 1 PM!
