Football holds Black and Gold Spring Game; Names 2015 captains

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University football team put the finishing touches on an outstanding spring season with its annual Black and Gold Spring Football Game on Saturday afternoon at Bulldog Stadium.

On a beautiful spring day, the Black and Gold ran through eight different offensive sets and also puts its special teams on display. The Bulldogs worked out for an hour in front of friends, family and members of the Class of 2019.

In addition to the spring game, the Bulldogs also announced six captains for the 2015 team. Seniors Ryan Barrett (Holliston, Mass.), Aaron Dixon (Danbury, Conn.), Ricardo McCray (Middletown, R.I.), Charles Wingate (Englewood, N.J.) and John Lavin (Falmouth, Mass.) and junior Marquise Watson (Hillside, N.J.). 

Prior to the game, the Bulldogs also held their annual clinic for the children of the Seven Hills Foundation.
