Constant named NEC Special Teams Player of the Week

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University football redshirt junior Jean Constant (Delray Beach, Fla.) was named the Northeast Conference Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday.

Constant picks up the honor after he posted a 97-yard kick return score vs. Wagner this past weekend. He finished the afternoon with 150 kick return yards and now averages a league-high 39.5 yards per return this season.

Late in the first half, Constant fielded a kickoff at his own 3-yard line and sprinted down the middle of the field for his program-record fourth kick return score. He has returned two kicks for TDs this season. Constant added a 53-yard return that setup a Bryant touchdown at the beginning of the second half.
