As a senior: Started all 19 games for the Bulldogs in 2012 … Tallied both of her assists against Sacred Heart on Oct. 26 in a 4-2 victory over the Pioneers … Recorded a pair of defensive saves on the season, at Maine on Sept. 9 and at La Salle on Sept. 28 ... Closes her Bryant career as the All-Time leader in defensive saves (14) and tied for third in games played (75).
As a junior: Appeared in all 18 games for the Bulldogs while earning seven starts ... Anchored the defensive unit while leading the team with six defensive saves ... Ranked second in the conference in defensive saves ... Named to the Northeast Conference Academic Honor Roll.
As a sophomore: Started all 20 contests at defense for the Black and Gold... Recorded a team-best three defensive saves (tied for 25th nationally) while chipping in two assists on the season... Defensive saves all came on the road against Maine, Temple and Monmouth... Assists came at Brown and at LaSalle... Played over 1,000 minutes anchoring the backline... Named to the NEC Academic Honor Roll.
As a freshman: Appeared in all 18 games, making 13 starts... Had three defensive saves on the season, including two in a 2-0 victory over NEC foe Quinnipiac on Oct. 25... Before Bryant: A 2008 graduate of Deerfield High School, Blitz was a three-year starter for the Warriors... Led team to a No. 5 ranking in Illinois... Named team captain as a senior... Two-time Team MVP... Two-time all-state selection as a junior and senior... Named an all-academic selection in 2008... Named the Deerfield Scholar-Athlete... Competed in every athletic season for all four years at Deerfield... Also participated in the Futures program from 2006-08... Member of the Windy City Flyers field hockey club where she was the recipient of the Impact Player Award and was named Team MVP in 2008... Participated in the National Field Hockey Festival and the College Connection from 2006-08, the 2008 Disney Showcase and the 2009 National Indoor Tournament... Also lettered in basketball and soccer, where she ranks No. 7 all-time in career assists... Four-year student council member... High honor roll.
