Jaarsma earns second MAAC Rookie of the Week Honors

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Freshman Marijn Jaarsma (Uithoorn, Netherlands) was named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for the second time this year as announced on Monday afternoon.

This weekend Jaarsma played all 140 minutes in the cage for the Bulldogs. On Friday, Jaarsma faced 23 shots against No. 25 Albany. The rookie recorded 12 saves in the match Friday.

During the Bulldogs 2-0 win over Colgate on Sunday, Jaarsma posted four saves in her second career shutout.

Bryant is back in action on Friday where they will travel up north to meet with New Hampshire at 3 p.m.  They return Sunday where they will host Columbia at Brown University at 3 p.m.
