Dennis scores in 3-1 loss to Lehigh

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Carson Dennis scored her first goal as a Bulldog and Marijn Jaarsma tied a program record with 15 saves but the Bryant University field hockey team fell to Lehigh, 3-1, on Sunday morning.

  • Lehigh scored six minutes into the second half to break a 1-1 tie.        

SCORING SUMMARY

  • Q1 - 7:13 - Grayson Green raced down a free ball along the endline and sent a pass into Dennis. Dennis advanced towards the goal and was able to slip a shot past the keeper to make it 1-0.
  • Q2 - 17:40 - Erica Steele tied the game on a rebound.
  • Q3 - 36:28 - Sarah Bonthuis gave Lehigh the lead, finishing on a long rebound.
