SCOUTING THE HAWKS
Hartford is 3-7 with wins over Quinnipiac, Western New England and Bowling Green. The Hawks are 0-2 against the NEC with losses to Central Connecticut and Sacred Heart.

Four Hawks are in double figures in scoring, led by 16.9 points per game from John Carroll. George Blagojevic leads the Hawks in rebounding at 7.6 per game while adding 11.6 points per game.

THE SERIES
Bryant and Hartford met for the first time in the Division I era last season with the Bulldogs capturing a 78-73 victory in West Hartford. SaBastian Townes (Chesapeake, Va.) tallied 19 points in the win, while Ikenna Ndugba (Boston, Mass.) recorded 16 points, 10 rebounds and five steals.

LAST TIME OUT: COLUMBIA 90, BRYANT 68
Junior Adam Grant (Franklin, Va.) and redshirt-senior Byron Hawkins (Fort Washington, Md.) posted season-best scoring efforts with 23 and 22 points, respectively, but Columbia closed the game on a 26-9 run to pull away for a victory in New York Friday night.

THREES FALLIN'
Bryant's 13 three-pointers Friday matched the season-high set Nov. 14 vs. Saint Peter's. Junior Adam Grant made six of the trifectas, while junior Juan Cardenas (Medellin, Colombia) drained his first two three-pointers as a Bulldog.

THAT'S GONNA BE A NO FROM THIS DAWG
Junior Juan Cardenas leads Bryant with 12 blocks on the year and has tallied two or more in each of his last four games. Cardenas recorded three rejections in the win over New Hampshire - his most since joining the Black & Gold before the season.

I WOULD SCORE 500 POINTS, AND I WOULD SCORE 500 MORE
Redshirt-senior Byron Hawkins and junior Adam Grant are both nearing the 1,000-point mark for their respective careers.

Hawkins, who joined the Bulldogs this season after stints at Towson and Murray State, enters Wednesday 12 points away from 1,000, while Grant is 17 points away from becoming the sixth 1,000-point scorer in Bryant's Division I era.

FRESHMAN GLASS
Freshman Patrick Harding (Fairfield, Conn.) paces all NEC rookies with 6.8 rebounds per game this year. Harding has four games of eight or more rebounds and five of seven or more.

NOT BASHFUL FROM BEYOND THE ARC
Junior SaBastian Townes hit his seventh three-pointer of the year in the victory over Columbia. Townes, who is 7-of-17 from long distance this year, made a combined four three-pointers in his first two seasons.

UP NEXT: DARTMOUTH
Bryant will have its longest break between games this season before a Friday morning contest against Dartmouth Dec. 21. The 11 a.m. tip can be seen on NEC Front Row and heard on WOON AM 1240 & 99.3 FM with Jon Wallach and Chris Burns on the call
