Kiss, Green III named NABC All-District

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University men's basketball redshirt senior Peter Kiss and sophomore Michael Green III were named to the NABC All-District 15 Second Team, the association announced on Tuesday.

Kiss and Green III become the fifth and sixth Bulldogs in DI program history to earn NABC All-District honors. District 15 consists of Division I programs from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) and Northeast Conference (NEC).

Kiss, an All-NEC First Team selection, led the Bulldogs in scoring with 16.9 points per game. He also averaged 6.3 rebounds per game, 3.3 assists per game and 1.86 steals per game. Kiss scored 20+ points on 10 occasions, including a season-high 27 against Central Connecticut on Jan. 8. He also recorded the first triple-double in DI program history with 12 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists against the Blue Devils.

Green III, an All-NEC Second Team selection, is second on the Bulldogs in scoring with 16.2 points per game. He also added 3.8 rebounds per game, 3.8 assists per game and shot 78 percent from the free throw line. Green III has scored in double-figures in all but two games this season, pouring in a career-high 33 in Bryant's victory over A-10 member UMass. For his efforts, Green III was named the Lou Henson National Player of the Week. Green III also became the first Bulldog in program history to record 20+ points and 10+ assists in a double-double.

Bryant is set to face Coastal Carolina in the quarterfinals of the CBI on Monday, March 22. Tip is set for 2:30 p.m.
